Yousmarg, Kashmir, India

Yousmarg or Yusmarg means "The meadow of Jesus". It is believed that Jesus came to Kashmir and stayed at Yusmarg for a while. (Source: Wiki)

Yusmarg is approximately 47 km from the Srinagar and lies in the Badgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The two-hour drive to the place is an enjoyment in itself. Grassy pastures stretching to acres of land, the dense forests full of pine trees, with the backdrop of splendid snow capped mountains leave you almost speechless.

It's famous for its views and the Kashmir valley , where you can see Kashmir from the spot.

Dhoodh Ganga, River with water which is as white as milk.

This is not much visited by tourists hence still can be said untouched.

Personally, I was not much impressed with the place.
Despite the views it offered, it's cheating everywhere, which makes us lose interest in the place.
Sadly, whole Kashmir is like that.

Visitor Tips:
You can skip the place if you are out of time.
